Where I've been

I was born to be a wanderer, and I have a passion to see the world.

I've been lucky to see a lot of the world in my 20 short years on this earth, and I am by no means done traveling. My parents were great, and made the most of living in Europe when we did. By the time I was 10 I had been to England (obviously...), Germany, Holland, France, Spain, Turkey and America.

Since graduating High School I have been lucky enough to spend my summers traveling, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends or my sister. Where have I been?

England

Having family in England has given me the unique opportunity to explore a lot of the country. I've found myself in gorgeous, tiny little towns, the heart of London, and everywhere in between.

France

I have spent a lot of time exploring this beautiful country. I've been to France on several occasions. I can't decide what I love more, the tranquil picturesque South, or the fun, artsy North.

Germany

I spent a lot of time in Germany with my parents when I was younger. I love Germany. It is a fantastic country to get yourself lost in. I've always had great memories of being there when I was young, and it did not disappoint when I returned two summers ago.

Italy

The food, the history, the people; its all wonderful. The cities are great, the small towns are beautiful, and the coast is beyond words.

Ireland

Last summer I spent some time in Ireland with my sister. We mostly explored Dublin and the surrounding area. If you ever have the chance, Dublin in the summer is beyond comparison.

India

The time I spent in India is unlike any other travel I've done. I went with a team to serve at a special needs orphanage. I lost my heart entirely to the city, the people, the ministry, and especially the kids. I left my heart in Ongole, India.

In the US

I've spent less time traveling the US than I'd like, but I thought I'd highlight my two favorites.

New Orleans

Without question my favorite city in the US, and one of my favorites in the world. I'm there as often as I can be. Maybe its because its so much like Europe? Maybe its the art and the food and the music? Maybe I was just made to be in NOLA.

New York

Okay, I'm cheating with this one. I didn't go here once I was an 'adult'. I was still in High School when I took this trip, but I don't have to tell you that it was fantastic. What an exciting city. My family and I are spending Christmas in the Big Apple this year, and I can not wait to be back there.
